 Ruby's Diary: Adventures in Jorvik 

Chapter One: Welcome to Jorvik

Day One.

10 AM

I suppose I should introduce myself, Diary. Not that anyone's reading you. Though maybe someone will someday. I'm Ruby Skywalker. 

I just found out that I'm traveling to a place called Jorvik for the summer. I love horses, and Jorvik seems to have a lot of them, from what I've learned anyway.

My mother gave me this diary to write about my adventures in Jorvik. Should be interesting. I need to finish packing and then hop on the bus to the ferry dock. TTYL! 

12 PM

Just got onto the ferry for Jorvik. I didn't realize it would take so long to get there. I'm definitely going to miss my family and friends back home, but hopefully I'll make new friends and enjoy Jorvik while I'm here.

I'm gonna sit back and enjoy the view. I'll write again when I arrive.

3 PM

I arrived at the Jorvik Ferry Dock and took another bus to a place called Moorland Stables. I just got to meet Justin Moorland and his father, Thomas. Justin told me a little about some company called GED. Apparently they're trying to evict the Moorlands to tear down the stable and build condos. It's so sad to hear that. I hope I can help somehow.

I also got to meet Maya, the stable hand, and Jenna, 

The Moorlands lent me a beautiful horse, a Dapple grey Jorvik Warmblood mare named Stardust. Jenna is going to teach me how to ride her now. TTYL

4PM

I just learned how to ride and met the Bobcats, Loretta and Tan. Tan seems nice, but I'm not sure what to think of Loretta. She seems to be a bit overprotective of Justin - though considering the way my first impression of her is I don't think he'd like her. I'm not going to get into that though.

Justin showed me how to care for Stardust and told me I could help out at the stable any time! Ooh, GTG diary Mr. Moorland wants me.
